Hi, I’m Mona 👋 a digital designer and web coder from Germany – I love guiding juniors along the path of UI design and web development. Currently working at Innovationsraum.

I create experiences for different screens like desktops, tablets and mobile phones – my main focus has been around web design, landing pages, web style guides and dabbling in app design.

I spend a good chunk of my time with WordPress, my fav CMS. No page builders allowed. I value code quality and am big on web fundamentals. Version control with Git is also part of the workflow.

I've been a mentor for most of my career, because I love to share my knowledge and expierences and I want people to learn and grow. As of 2019 I am the Digital Team Lead in my workplace.

What I do

I am a generalist. I do love both design and code, but am also very passionate about tangent diciplines like project management, team dynamics, knowledge documentation, workshops, design thinking etc.

This made me a perfect candidate for the team lead position, as I have an eye for different topics and know how different digital disciplins work together.

About me

I am a typical office nerd 🤓 – video games, fantasy and sci-fi included – with bad jokes and sprinkles of dark humor. Apple Mac OS is my operating system of choice – Windows is only used for gaming in our household. Spotify and my Sennheiser noise cancelling headphones are a must for my coding flow.

People say I am a strong minded person, but I am very approachable, a good listener and an absolute team player. My team is like my second family, because we spend most of our days at work after all. I am also very loyal and invested in my workplace.

I love tea & coffee, blanket forts, Sushi and Indian Cuisine. Outside of work, I am interested in astrophysics, archeology, contemporary surrealism, cooking, henna body art, hiking, photography, spinning yarn and technology. 🖖
